Welcome to Jamglue
Jamglue is an online community for creating and sharing original music and audio. We let you upload as much music as you want, create mixes, and share your creations with the world!
One of the coolest things about Jamglue is our web-based remixer that lets you combine and edit tracks right in your browser.

The Jamglue Mixer
Jamglue's simple Flash-based mixer works from within your browser!
You don't have to be an experienced musician to make great mixes -- all you need is an imagination and a mouse.
Click the play button to start the mix playing.
While it's playing, drag some of the clips around and adjust the volume sliders. To really go nuts, add something new using the large orange button at the bottom.
If you make something you like, save your mix using the Save/Save a Copy buttons at the top.
Otherwise click "Next" again to see some details about this mix!
A Mix Page
Mixes are songs that Jamglue users assemble using the library of tracks and other mixes on Jamglue.
This is the page for the mix we were just remixing. On it, you can see the mix's musical components, fans, and mini-reviews.
You can mark mixes and tracks as "favorites" to give people props for creating cool music and to show off your great musical taste. You can even write your own mini-review or download the song to listen to on your mp3 player!
You can embed mixes and tracks in your blog or MySpace page so that all your friends can easily listen to your favorite Jamglue music.

Here's the MIXES tab. This is a great starting point for discovering new music to listen to, post in your blog/MySpace, or use in your own mixes.

A User Profile
Let the world know about your talent and taste through your Jamglue user profile!
Here's an example of a user profile. Besides a picture and the user's details, it has a list of this person's mixes, tracks, fans, and comments.
Jamglue profiles are a great way to make friends and discover new music.
Besides creating some great mixes, this user also uploaded some raw tracks for other users to mix with. Click "Next" to see how they did it.
Contributing Tracks
There are three easy ways to contribute tracks that you can use in your mixes:
- Upload a track from your hard drive directly into your Jamglue account using the upload form (in the left column of this page).
- Record directly into Jamglue using our built-in recorder (top of the right column). All you need is a microphone. Record your voice, an instrument, or anything else you can think of!
- Import audio from anywhere on the web by entering the URL, or use our bookmarklet for easier importing (bottom right column).
All tracks that you contribute will be available for the whole Jamglue community. Remember not to upload a track if it will violate somebody else's copyright!

Remix Contests
Remix contests are a great way to get started with Jamglue!
Here's how they work:
- We give you a cool song (in this case, Double Up by R. Kelly).
- You add a new twist by rapping over it, rearranging the clips, or adding/removing sounds.
- The creators of the winning remixes (as voted by Jamglue users or the artists) win cool prizes!
